The Savannah takes up most of where the United States used to be. The Savannah takes up the former states pf Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, part of Kansas and most of Texas. The Savannah dips down into where Mexico used to be, before becoming a jungle.

Ryan rules the lower part of the Savannah, along with a bit of the jungle. His territory stretches from Colorado directly downwards, covering most of Texas and half of Mexico.

The Savannah itself is hot during the summers and warm during the fall and spring. In the winter, however, the area often drops to around zero, or ten above.

The land is grassy and free of large trees, consisting of short, fat bushes. The grass and vegetation are golden and brown, even in the spring. Water is sparse, well-guarded by the lion prides and other, less dominate groups of animals.

The rain forest, once under the threat of deforestation, has emerged once more, powerful and deadly beyond belief. All traces of humanity have been wiped away, replaced by the wild vines and ferns, the trees and canopies and undergrowth, that make up the most majestic forest in the world.

The trees grow to be larger than the tallest Redwoods that once lay in North America. Not quite as tall as mountains, of course, but huge nonetheless. The trucks are massive around, and the ground can be frozen straight through in the fall because of the lack of sunlight in some places.

The Amazon River winds through the center of the forest, an unstoppable stream of water and wildlife that take and give on a whim. Sometimes, a single step into the currents can be murder, and others, the water is gentle as a summer spring. All depends on how pissed off Mother Nature and her River are at you.
